Quite disappointed with this place. Read the reviews - looked worth a shot.

People in there were friendly enough but the food itself just wasn't that great. Tried a variety of curries and none of them were special - I've had much better from my local takeaway and even from decent quality microwave meals. 

The other thing is the drinks were completely flat. Took a sip, sent it back asked for a replacement. New one comes, again it's flat. Couldn't be bothered to complain.

Only thing saving this place is that the decor was quite nice and some of the staff were friendly. 

However wouldn't go back.

Good food... but try to criticise the food and you will see the real face of the owner. He offered us the menu for about £20. The owner introduced the restaurant style as ‘you like the food or you don’t pay, or you get a different dish for free’. 

All the dishes were delicious for me. But a friend tried to say one of the chicken was not cooked enough for her. She had not intentions to have a different one or to skip the payment, it was just a sincere opinion. The owner replied he is a chef and he knows how to cook, and the chicken was perfect 🤨. So if you go, make sure you LIKE everything or you will face the arrogance of the owner.

It turns out the bird seed St the end of the meal is candy coated liquorish.

This place was recommended by a local. We arrived to a half empty dining room and the question of reservations. When we said no, the host (who was also our server) said he'd have to go and see if they could fit us in.

A minute later they magically had seats in their half empty place. While the further service was a mix of attentive and can't be bothered depending on the person the food was excellent and the portions generious. The starters were smaller then expected. They are one person starters not for the table.

Food was lovely, but we asked three times for a glass and still didn't get one! Would happily give more stars if staff We're attentive.
