Please can someone tell me how I can give a negative rating! As an Asian, having had eaten their “so-called” Chinese dishes, I am extremely disappointed to see Chinese cuisine being labelled on the board . It is offensive for us Chinese since we do not condone to this being called a selection of Chinese cuisine. The level of food safety is atrocious.. Attached below will be images of the food provided in buffet menu. The sushi tasted stale probably due to frozen month long fish being used. The tomatoes are not ripe and are disdaining yellow in colour. I could list down so much more about the horrendous display of food but one of the worst things would be the mouldy marshmallow turning green- displayed in the close proximity of hopefully edible food touching the dishes. The mango cake can you even call it cake?! looked alright at first glance, but one bite into it, tasted like plastic. The texture was solid and scruffy to the mouth and was a determining factor for us to walk out of the “restaurant” and go have Chinese just across the street. In addition to all these, of around 25 disheswithout dessert, 14 were left not refilled. What was written as Thai squid curry had no trace of squid. What was written as a selection of vegetables had only broken pieces of carrots and staling cauliflower with discoloured peas. The service was revolting as well as our dishes are not being taken away by the waiters / waitresses, It was really a disappointing experience since we went into the restaurant named “MK BUFFET VILLAGE” with high expectations in terms of the name representing the city it was in. I would boldly say that it does not deserve to put the name “MK” . All of this outrageous experience cost us £37.98 which was the worst money spent of our time in the UK.
This is possibly the best buffet I have ever been to. For the variety and quality of cuisine, this is very reasonably priced. Far too many options to choose from and everything I tried was delicious! Friendly service and great atmosphere. It won't come as a surprise that this place gets packed very quickly, so worth booking in advance.
Absolutely amazing food and service and lots of different cuisines to pick from. Sanjeev was very helpful upon arrival and ensured our drinks were topped up. Will be coming back here regularly!
Excellent and tasty food, wide variety to choose from. You can't miss this highly worthy restaurant. Enjoy!
Sadly the food is poor. A range of items that were either too sweet or too salty, very oily or very dry. I have never seen bad spring rolls until I went to MK Buffet Village. I was quite disappointed. The price does not match the experience.
Came here on a Saturday evening for a dinner date for 2. Food was great quite a bit of choice Price was £19.99 each Would recommend
One of the best buffet ever i had. Good ambiance, good service, good and tasty food. We gone for dinner and it was amazing. varieties of all meats and fish dishes are available and each dishes are really amazing. No waiting or no delay for foods. Varieties of cakes, pudding, fruits, sweets are also included. Really really amazing and fabulous. Enjoyed very well. Must try in UK.
Not really alot of options on curries during lunch time and dispointed with the service charge add on now without it been written anywhere and kids under 3 has to pay nowFood: 3/5
Average food. Indian food is not spicy.. Taste is ok. You would like the food if you don't eat spicy. Food is served on plates only. Bowls not available. No salt and pepper shakers. Visit once for experience.. Taste is subjective so you might like it.
Have been here last week and I would say the food was okay. The starters were okay, not that great but their mains were really good. The Indian dishes were good and fresh however found a few Chinese dishes to be reheated and not very fresh. The dessert selection is good, chocolate fountain was fun and icecream selection was good too. Overall I say it was fine but a wide variety of cuisine to choose from.
