First of all, the staff are great despite seeming to be run off their feet. This is the largest of the upstairs bars in terminal 1 and the busiest. For this reason orders can sometimes get snarled up. Plus points for the table service system, but there are often times when the terminal is unmanned and this can be a little frustrating. When the food does come out, it’s not bad at all! And for an airport, not as expensive as I was expecting - 15 quid or so for a decent meal. Not a bad place to chill while you wait.
Horrible experience-avoid All the employees are mean, bored of life, pissed if you ask for anything, even when they will bring you the food or drink they shout at you and look annoyed. Ordered an americano with milk and I replaced normal milk to oat milk on the app , they did bring them two even if on the menu states replace the other one, coffee taste like nothing really i couldn't drink it at all. It was just brown water with no taste whatsoever. Waited for an English breakfast alot, which wasn't that bad but doesn't look appealing, not too much food for what you paying which is expensive for what it is. Asked for an extra fork and didn't bring it. Asked another person and she seems to be pissed coz we ask. Croissant not available. Toast was good. All the atmosphere was unpleasant, everyone there seemed to have a problem with them and quite a few people got the wrong order.
Paid £6 for the dessert and approx £20 for the meal? can't say much about the staff because I didn't come into a lot of contact with them. Food tastes good albeit a little on the non-salty side - as always in the UK.Food: 3/5
Very nice place, prices were as expected for an airport establishment but the food was delicious and the poached eggs were cooked perfectly! Food came about 5 minutes after I ordered, followed by my beer. I was greeted by a friendly gentleman called Kris, greeted with a smile and some friendly chat! Would come again.Food: 5/5
The service from Kris was a solo amazing. He waited to my needs and made sure my time here was a memorable one. The food was great portions are decent. Got the English breakfast and I was very fullFood: 5/5
Person at front was useless. Mumbled something about finding a table. Because of self service tables are not being cleaned. See pictures. Service without a smile. Don’t tip.Food: 2/5
Food was good and very fast service was brilliant had the food within 10 minutes and the drinks before 5 minutes. As you can see clean plates all round and much better than Burger King which was disastrous last time I came through the airport. Looses a point for the price but isn’t is airport food so .Food: 4/5
Typical overpriced airport standard food ordered a chicken and bacon Caesar salad would give it 4 out 5 good quantity of meat and fresh ordered a side order of cheesy chips seen better portion sizes in a Happy Meal scandalous charging nearly £6 for a handful of loop warm chips, staff where all pleasant and friendly but the portion sizes and quality let the place down a bag full
Ordered through the app, very easy also allowed for add ones not on the printed menus. Service to the table was quick. The food was freshly cooked and enjoyable. Expect to pay 3x Wetherspoons prices. The one disappointment? No real ale on draught, the best options were neck oil or Guinness. Really fancied a decent pint of English ale before 2-weeks on euro-fizz.
Waiting 20 minutes for drinks Paid 6.99 for some burnt sweet potatoes that looked like they had been cooked 3 or 4 times portion was a tiny cup poor value for money. Paid 7.99 for cheesy chips we received some boiled potatoes with white liquid on them looks horrible and tested even worse All in all spent 50 quod on 4 drinks and 2 portions of chips Poor at best would not visit again
