Lovely place, recommended to me, had high expectations and wasn’t disappointed. Food was amazing! Big portions, we didnt have dessert only because we were so full from the lovely main. We had a pulled pork burgers. Parking: It is a very tight entrance to the car park, there aren’t many spaces, it was quiet when we were there but on a busy day it would be full quickly Kid-friendliness: Garden at the rear with a wooden climbing frame suitable for 2-8 years
Didn't have any of the food so can't comment on it, but this is a very cosy and well looked-after pub. I was served quickly and had a few different ciders to choose from. Tables were clean, as were the toilets. A great pit stop on my walk around Puttenham.Service: 5/5
What a lovely little country pub. It’s the first place you can spend money walking east from Farnham on the North Downs Way, but it doesn’t disappoint. Fantastic burger and chips, a lovely few beers in a pub which sits in the heart of its community.Food: 5/5
Such a lovely classic pub, haven't been here for a few years but glad to see absolutely nothing has changed. A warm welcome to a beautiful bar area, half full already 10 mins after opening. Food was excellent and a superb Guinness to match. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
Stayed at the campsite “Waggoners” and this pub is a short distance away 4k Had the fish & chips which was superb, batter was crisp and light. Highl recommend, friendly staff and inviting pub. Great traditional village pub!Food: 5/5
This pub is an absolutely gorgeous place, from service, to interiors. And the food was just beautiful! Typical local village pub, very cozy, lovely atmosphere. A lot of locals at the bar and dining section, very intimate. Children's roast was probably as big as adults, and may I say, best roast I've ever had!!!!
This pub is the quintessential English country pub. The setting is so pretty and inside it’s even nicer. Inglenook fireplace, open fire, cosy, warm, lovely atmosphere and friendly locals. My meal of Spare Ribs, Triple cooked chips and coleslaw homemade of course was really yummy, generous portions, really tasty and served on a wooden platter. My fellow diner ordered Good Intent burger with chips. Again very tasty, succulent and well cooked generous portions and beautifully presented. I highly recommend this pub. It ticks all the boxes
The menu was not that varied, but the food was nicely presented. We did not want to have a large meal and only had starters. The pate was nice and the chips were nice and chunky. The place is sufficiently spacious so that if people have children with them, there are other comfortable places to sit if the children are being noisy. The woman who brought us our food was diligent and did not ask loads of annoying questions. ***We attended this place again in June 2022. and it had a friendly atmosphere. The person behind the bar seemed a bit shy and was efficient in getting the drinks. It was also nice to see the lovely decorations for The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.***
One of the best pubs. Quiet surroundings. Clean facilities. Very kind staff. Food and beverages at reasonable prices. Delicious food and loads of food choices. Although, you have to ask if steaks are still available. Definitely recommend!!
Nice pub and the food they could deliver was good, unfortunately they only had 2 of four starters and ran out of burgers, then wouldn't do a halloumie starter even though it was as main?! And most other things didn't seem to be available pretty poor showFood: 2/5
