Went for a birthday roast dinner. Although the place and staff were really nice the food let it down massively which was a shame.the soup starter was excellent but the gpujons looked like they were either overcooked or cooked in old fat. The mains were the real let down. You expect a big dinner for a Sunday roast which is what the child got but we didn't. There was only one spud difference from the child's dinner to the adults. Although the dinner was cooked well the meat was not cut from a roast joint and looked like it was from a packet. The turkey looked from a cheap turkey breast roll. We sat down for a further 20 and had to remind them we were waiting for dessert menus. As I say the staff are nice just need to be a bit more attentive on shift change.

Great food. Was kicked out at 10.30 once because we were the last punters, and the barmaid wanted to go home. It was my wedding night too.

Just popped in for a couple. Lots of people having ther Christmas office party. Food looks and smells great.

Came here Friday and Saturday night. Beer quality exceptional the HSB and Holly Bush were in excellent condition, the atmosphere was very good both nights . Will revisit when back down south.
