The food was incredibly good never had a shoulder of lamb so unbelievably tender and the puddings were off the charts delicious An absolute pleasure and delight for us to eat.First time eating there had been there a few times for drinks and coffees. Service was second to none.A very warm intimate and cozy atmosphere.Will have no hesitation in returning We had to personally thank the chef who's one of the top rated chefs for Fullers.Money well spent.We were blown away by it all.

Meal was disappointing to say the least and we had to wait nearly and hour for it despite only ordering a main meal. There were only two other people in the restaurant and the bar was quiet! The price was much more than it was worth but since we had to get to an appointment soon after we paid and went. There are other places to eat in Wickham, suggest you try them first.

Friendly, rather noisy old pub. Good ambience and food. Easy parking in the square.

Family Sunday dinners. Beef & lamb. Excellent service and great staff. Food cooked to perfection and the red cabbage was to die for. We will be back. Thanks for the experience.

pretty good, it has a good atmosphere, nice food and well kept beer though prices are pretty high. skittle alley out back too
