We came for Father’s Day as a family of six, and despite how incredibly busy it was, everything was excellent from start to finish.nnThe staff were friendly, welcoming and worked so hard all afternoon, but nothing felt rushed. Our food was delicious, arrived together, and everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their meal.nnA big thank you to the whole team for helping make our Father’s Day celebration so special. It’s not easy looking after a full restaurant on one of the busiest days of the year, but you absolutely smashed it. We’ll definitely be back!
I tried this restaurant for the first time tonight, and it was better than I expected. I was greeted with a smile as soon as I entered, taken to my table, and the waiters were constantly ready and asking about my food and drinks.nI was very hungry and the food arrived quickly. I chose the salads I wanted from the salad bar, they were delicious.nThe atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice, and the waitresses are very positive and energetic, especially ruth I forgot to eat my food while watching them : I will definitely come again :
This is our local, we didn’t have the best experience 6 months ago, but gave it another chance. Ordered two sides. One being a bowl of chips for £3.99 which you can see in the picture. Worked out just under 50p per chip. After complaining about the portion size the waitress was near unapologetic and she offered to get us another portion for £3.99 I don’t feel she fully understood the complaint. Atmosphere felt off, staff were vacant and I couldn’t get over the portion control to cost. We sadly won’t be going back. Since the refurbishment it has somehow gotten worse.
Turned up as a party of four without booking on a Saturday evening. Was seated promptly. Despite it being very busy we were not kept waiting too long before our order was taken. Callum was friendly and professional - an excellent server who answered all of our queries. Our drinks were served without too long a wait and the food came out in good time. Our meals couldn’t be faulted for value and quality. The icing on the cake was using our 25% off welcoming reward for subscribing to the Harvester app. A superb experience. Thanks Callum. Thanks all at The Buccaneer.
Food is standard, could be better. The salad bar is where it is atnCallum our server was fantastic, very friendly and helpful. I was struggling to pick a dish and he helped me choose and suggested alterations.nAtmosphere is standard for a family restaurant.
