What a lovely restaurant.  We came as an early new year celebration just my wife and I.  Very relaxing and intimate inside, nice music, very comfortable seating.  The staff were all very friendly.  It is quite expensive but you do get what you pay for. The food is superb.  My wife stated that the pasta she had was the best she has ever tasted! Given we went to Rome this year and ate lots of pasta that is very high praise indeed!  Well worth a visit and for sure we will be going back.

This is a lovely Italian restaurant. I had calamari and a seafood linguine. Both were well cooked and tasty. Meal was good value for what it was. Service was a little slow but once the order was in the food came quickly. Staff were friendly and the restaurant was busy. Overall an enjoyable evening. Would go again.

I had a delicious lemon sea bass! The staff were incredibly welcoming and lovely. The food was delicious. I was on my own, as I'm staying nearby for a training course, but the atmosphere was still wonderful. Highly recommended, will definitely be going back to try more dishes! Great evening out with friends. Food was lovely, has improved immensely since my last visit. Live music by Mark Searle was great, people were dancing, plus Villa Romana staff joined in, wonderful would recommended.

Nice authentic Italian restaurant.  The live music was an added bonus which we really enjoyed. The food was tasty and left us satisfied.  I'd like to return sometime soon for another romantic night out

After the tough times hospitality has been through, it's great to see a restaurant SO busy and popular on a Saturday night, but my husband and I booked there because I'd read some reviews saying it was romantic, yet it was far from that - more like Waterloo station during a frenetic rush hour! The food was good value for money, but I ordered the slow roasted shoulder of lamb and it was HUGE - I only ate a quarter of it before passing it to my husband, and we were both too full up for pudding, which was a pity.  The service was attentive, but it would have been nice if our waiter had mopped up the red wine he spilled whilst filling my husband's glass instead of leaving us to do it. All in all it was OK, but we wouldn't rush back. Not that they need to worry about our opinion because there are plainly many people who would.

I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant. It was just super! A cosy atmosphere, great food, cheerful waiters. And by the way, good homemade white wine. Thank you very much! You made my party even better.Food: 5/5

At first we thought it was a bit more expensive than what we are used to for an Italian BUT it was worth every penny! I ordered the salmon and it was absolutely delicious. Also the service was very friendly. I would definitely go back again.

Beautiful Italian restaurant, very good customer service and staff. The food was amazing and the beer is also good!! Complimentary amaretto after the meal so that was a nice touch. Staff are very friendly and always checking up to see if you need anything else or drinks. Very authentic as well!

One of the best Italian restaurant within Fareham, Portsmouth and Titchfield area. Love the ambient of this restaurant, very cozy and would be better if there is aroma of onion, bread or tomatoes sauce . The foods that we ordered was all good especially the sword fish and the white bait is better than expected as many restaurants cooked seafood poorly.  Only Italian place we will go back if we want an Italian meal in the future.
