Staff were lovely but food not great. My rare steak was cold on the inside and barely warm on the outside - more blue than rare. The burnt end were pretty terrible too - there's a limit to how "burnt" is still tasty. Side salad was great though!

Have gone to Bar and Block loads of times and every time it has been amazing. Great food and great staff.

Went their for a family birthday on bank holiday Monday. Slow service although place was pretty empty. Lots of menu choices were unavailable. High cost meals that were served with either chips or salad no garnish or veg or an onion ring in sight , all extra so adding more to expensive meal. When meals arrived no one asked us if we wanted sauces or drinks. The steaks were cold. Very quick to clear our meals away when it was clear we haven't finished. Only positive was the place was modern and clean. Pub grub at extortionate prices .

Not the best service we've ever had, we were told that they had no burgers has the machine had brocken however 20 minutes later 2 we're service to another table who were behind us on the way in. Overall poor food poor service looks like they are short staffed had to ask for drinks to be refreshed my wife and our friend sent the good back because it cold Would not recommend this restaurant

Fabulous meal this evening. My husband and I both had steak different options but both found food delicious. Deserts were very good too. Service was excellent attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend
