another lovely dog friendly pub .the landlord is real nice and made you feel really welcome. he even brought over a water bowl and a bit of meat for out little lady ..they are new and I can see thus being a very popular pub .Will be back soon

Lovely pub with fantastic staff. The lady that made my trip and a lot more had a brommie accent and was absolutely fabulous. As my phone was low on battery she suggested a seat with a plug. Haven't tried the pizza but it smelled divine

This is the most homely place in Portland, Annie is the life of the party with her overly hospitality, Lloyd is a pool master who is always up for the challenge, and Jamie is the hostess with the mostest: Come for fun and leave with friends.

Proper pub, great bar staff and live music on the night we visited, the brilliant Rock Apes.Well worth a visit and great to have somewhere that doesn't focus so much on younger customers

This pub actively supports live music and even when there is no band on it's a really nice pub. Go there and enjoy.....it would be hard not to.

Really good pub grub & good pint of beer. The burgers are excellent. I can see how service might be stretched at busy times, but on a quiet Monday lunch was great. Much less busy than the super-packed places along the harbour side.
