The pub was clean and tidy. The food was good quality and great value. A bit more upmarket than your usual Marston's pub. Recommended.
Solid grub, always friendly service, nice atmosphere both inside and out, and a pool table to boot - all the necessary components for a pub worth revisiting. Only downside is the rather steep drinks prices, which is why I've had to give a 4 instead of a 5. But wow me, Glassworks, I'll be back soon no doubt, and therein lies the golden opportunity to win my heart and earn your coveted 5-star rating.
Food was average for the price, paid for jalapeño to be added to pizza and they didn't turn up, told the lady that brought the food over and her response was "oh" then walked not to be seen again. The two stars are for the kids areas as they are great to keep the little one busy but wouldn't return.
Decent pub, nice atmosphere and staff. Good place to take kids as they have a small playground around the back. Only down side is recently it's got a bit pricey if you want a decent drink or it would of been 5 stars for me
We booked online but the staff were not aware of the booking. We were eventually seated on table near the door and children's area. A large group were opposite us and their children were running in circles around our table. I went to ask if we could be moved and staff helpfully found an alternate table and ensured that our order was transferred to our new table. The food was good and our new table was in a much quieter location, so thankfully we were able to enjoy our mealsand even stayed for desert!
Food was delicious. Fresh and hot when served. Good value for money! Drinks were a little pricey at just over £5 for a pint of Corona and £5 for a medium Rosé spritz. Non the less, would definitely eat at glassworks again as the food was well worth the visit. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great too.
Really great pub food. Steaks are amazing and special low price on Thursdays. Staff are really friendly and good at their jobs. Rachel, Libby, Sam and Lianne always make it a pleasure to visit.
The bar staff were very friendly. The food not so good. The roast turkey was OK but the beef was like heated up frozen slices, the stuffing balls were like they had been kept under a hot plate all day.
Had a lovely meal there last week. Food was good and value for money. Pleasant atmosphere and the service from Rachel was friendly and attentive ,nothing was to much trouble. Will be revisiting soon
Came for a meal with the family last night, lovely atmosphere, indoor and outdoor play area for the kids which was great. food was fantastic lovely fresh pizzas and dough balls, service by Rachel was really good she was very friendly and welcoming and catered to our every need, nothing was too much trouble for her, the bar staff were all very friendly, highly recommend and will certainly be back very soon.
