Great place to eat, lovely food and the service was really good. We did not book but still got a table on a Saturday lunchtime. Lots of choice on the menu, and several vegan options which was a bonus. The restaurant is really conveniently situated off the dual carriageway and has lots of parking. Disabled parking spaces are located right next the the ramp giving access to the main entrance. The outside area looked nice, with plenty of seating and very clean Wheelchair accessibility: Very good
This a lovely looking pub with a good selection of food and drinks. I would like to give it more stars, but the price is so expensive for what you get I can't justify giving it any more than three. I paid 14 pounds for the vegan burger which was literally just a burger pate with a slice of tomato and a slice of lettuce, with a small cup of fries. How do you justify charging 14 pounds for that? The food is very nice tasting. But very expensive. We was served quickly and the customer service was OK. The staff didn't have much knowledge of the food on the menu. I asked what the burger was made from and the staff didn't know or bothered to find out. When we arrived the restaurant was pretty much empty. Yet the waitress put us on a table next to a large family with kids running around noisily and uncontrollable. Why put a couple next to a family with disruptive kids beggars belief, especially when the restaurant is empty. I had to go and ask to be reseated elsewhere. Unless the price changes considerably, we shall not be returning.
Went here on New Years Day and had the set menu. There were 16 of us in Total. Food was very good with no complaints even got extra vegetables and beef with main course. Service was very good for food and drinks for the entire menu. Atmosphere was good and the actual pub is very nice. All of us who live l ok cal said we would visit again.

Sarah had left and we was a little worried regarding our booking but he was fab Our guests loved the venue and the food! Perfect for a celebration! Excited to come back and explore the menu too! The place is beautiful and all the staff are lovely
Driving back from Worcester to Birmingham we decided to stop here for food. Gotta say its a really nice restaurant, friendly staff and good atmosphere all round. But the food was 10/10 huge portions and I think literally the best roast I've had in any restaurant I've ever been too. I would highly recommend trying Bell out when in the area.... Spot on
The atmosphere at this restaurant is truly wonderful - cozy, warm, and inviting. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The staff were fantastic - attentive, efficient, and friendly, making sure that every aspect of our experience was just right. My partner ordered the pizza, and I have to say, it tasted absolutely amazing. The crust was crispy, and the toppings were perfectly balanced, making for a delicious and satisfying meal. As for me, I ordered the linguine dish, which was honestly one of the best I've ever had. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was rich, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. Throughout our meal, we were consistently impressed by the level of service we received. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed and were enjoying our experience. It was clear that they genuinely cared about their customers, and that level of care made all the difference. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a cozy and memorable dining experience. The food, atmosphere, and service were all outstanding, and we will definitely be back again soon!
What a lovely place ! Classy with beautiful food and super friendly staff ! Never been before but will definately be back ! My partner and I had sticky chicken , mozzarella bread for starters with vegan and dirty burger for main. Crème Brulée and brownie finished off the meal nicely. Emma was so friendly and helpful and service was quick and efficient , can’t fault anything ! Special evening thanks so much xx
We had an absolutely wonderful lunch on Sunday. A mix of Sunday Lunches and off menu choices. The staff were all wonderful, helpful, polite, professional and provided amazing service despite it being incredibly busy. Toni was our main server and was spot on for everything even dish changes due to medical dietary needs. Nothing was too much trouble. Our food arrived in good time, plentiful, piping hot and correct. Couldn't fault in any way. Recommend highly and huge thanks to the team.
The Bell is a lovely cosy restaurant, with tasty food and a good atmosphere. When we came through the front door, there was an unpleasant smell like toilets but the toilets were very clean so I’m not sure where it came from. When we arrived to The Bell, we were greeted promptly and told our table was still being set up. This gave us time to order some drinks before we went to the table, which were served promptly. The lager selection on tap was fantastic and the Asahi lager was delicious. Once we had our drinks, we were told our table was ready. The table was for 6 but I felt it was slightly cramped, and being wedged up the corner did not help. Nonetheless, the table itself was clean and the decor, traditional in its nature, helped create a warm and cosy atmosphere. One member of the party who had arrived later was seated at the table for 10 minutes until I had to flag down a waiter to take a drinks order. The drinks arrived promptly and the house wine I ordered, Merlot, was served at room temperature which was perfect. My guests had the following items: * SMOKED SALMON & KING PRAWNS topped with Devon crab crème fraîche, served with ciabatta’ which, whilst presented rather oddly with a jar to house the salmon and prawns and hindered the process of eating the meal, tasted great. The ciabatta was toasted perfectly and the salmon and prawns were rich in flavour. The portion was a good size, and it is something I would order again. * DIABLO PIZZA - This ended up being a great choice. It was too hot to eat on arrival, and the pizza cutter offered barely made a dent, however once it had cooled and I was able to eat it with a knife and fork, I was impressed with every component. The pepperoni was delicious, and the ham hock, bacon and chorizo complimented the jalapeños and red chili perfectly. The portion size was slightly too big as about a quarter of it went to waste, so the option of a doggy bag here is a good one. The table had started to fill up with glasses by the time our mains were finished and this was neglected by the waiters. It was a rather busy night so I can forgive this, but it did make the already small table even more cramped whilst eating our main courses. * HOME-BAKED CHOCOLATE BROWNIE - This was served with custard, of which I had specifically requested. The dessert was the pièce de résistance of the night. Presented beautifully, perfect in flavour and portion size, I would happily eat this after every meal. * Panko Chicken - This came with their chips and gravy. It was okay the chicken was little dry in places and I feel a green product would of made a nice addition to the meal. * Freshly Battered Line-Caught Cod - no faults! : * Ice cream and home-baked triple chocolate cookie - This was delicious! The added choice of ice cream really with this dessert was a lovely bonus. The toilets in the restaurant left a little to be desired, as the night went on they became progressively worse with a wet floor in the toilet and unflattering smells. Overall, I would rate the Bell at a 7/10 as it allowed for an enjoyable night, however certain incidents listed above could definitely be improved if I were to visit again. The company was great and the service was ok but room for improvement. I understand Friday evenings are busy but we didn’t have a waiter to check up on us or clear our empty glasses away from the table.
