We went for a nights treat using our christmas and birthday gift. The room was stunningly finished and had a gorgeous view over the water. We ate and spent the evening in the bar. The food was exceptional and great value. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed and service brilliant. The decor in the bar and restraunt was lovely. Breakfast was good and filling and plenty of choice
Really nice place on the water to grab a drink or bite to eat. The inside areas are really spacious with big windows and lots of flowers and colour. There is outside seating which is nice in the summer and it's just off the town quay. The portion sizes are very generous, the food is wonderful, the staff are friendly and polite. There are a good selection of drinks on offer; alcoholic, non-alcoholic, soft and hot. Prices are reasonable, the toilets are nice and clean and there is also a small seating area outside the front door.
Popped in for a drink as walking past and bar staff were lovely and welcoming, ordered a few drinks and sat down. Very reasonable prices compared to other pubs in Fowey, with the addition of a lovely atmosphere. We were mid pool game when closing time came and the bar staff were kind enough to let us Finnish up. Will be coming again!
My family and I came to have lunch here, we needed a table for 6 and were told just to sit anywhere, I said there aren't any tables for 6, the lady said you'll have to put 2 together, this was a struggle due to helping my disabled Mum and 3 small kids, but managed in the end, I did think they may have offered to help, but maybe they were too busy. It was very dirty around the table, food all over the floor, which I cleaned up myself.nThere was a good selection of food and it came in good time and was pretty decent, although no one came to check in on us to ask if all ok. Beautiful views. Just a shame about the friendliness of staff and cleanliness.
Clean, bright and in a lovely location on the water. A wide array of beers on draught and the food I have to say looked amazing, fresh cooker and very generous portions indeed.
