We've visited this place a few times now, and it’s always our go-to for a meal in Fowey. We dropped by today on a busy Sunday without a reservation, but the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food never disappoints and is always served at a very reasonable price. We had Sunday roast—my wife went for the roast beef, and I had the roast pork—both were absolutely delicious! The quality and flavors are always top-notch. Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area!
Delicious food and great service in the restaurant. Our room, #2, was roomy and clean. The entryway was a bit strange, but we got used to it. Excellent view out over the harbour.
If you’re looking for great food then this is the spot to be, the staff are accommodating and welcoming.nAmple outdoor seating sheltered and in-sheltered.nThere’s a great choice of dishes to choose from, we all had the house steak, an excellent choice and all cooked to perfection.nHighly recommend come rain or shine.
Possibly the best fish and chips in the world! Very best quality, you will not be disappointed. Family and dog friendly, dog friendly dining area. Lovely atmosphere, great service, top play list. Can't ask for better!
Disappointing on our second visit.nWith the exception of the waitress who served our food all staff were less than interested and somewhat rude which almost made us walk away but the location is wonderful.nWe were not the only people to experience this as other guests were equally irritated.nStaff training definitely needed.nFood was average but nothing exciting to be honest. We felt like this place is running on previous reputation and has certainly gone downhill since we last visited which is a pity.
