Another three-week trip to beautiful Fowey, and I think we spent most of it in Havener's Bar & Grill!nnWe've enjoyed so many happy hours here - it's not just a welcoming, stylish environment both in the bar and the restaurant, the food is exceptional, the service excellent and the ambience exactly what we love when away from home.nnWe had dinner three times, two or three lunches I lose count!, a yummy breakfast, and several coffees.nnOn top of that, we had drinks and drinks and drinks, and any establishment that has the deliciously smooth Connie Glaze vodka on tap is a winner for me!nnThe staff were probably glad to see the back of us, but we can't say the same! They all helped to make this trip one of our most fun and memorable!nnLooking forward to being back in February for more!
Fab spot on Fowey harbour, Comfy, nicely decorated restaurant, small team with great service and good bar chats.nnFood all delicious, went for squid starter, sea bass main and bread and butter pudding. Lovely seasonal mulled cider and tasteful Christmas decorations
Everything about this place was amazing! From the staff, our waitresses Laura, the drinks and to top it off, the food was out of this world! Venison and the Pork was cooked so well. Will definitely be back! Highly recommend!
A local lady recommended Havener's to us. We turned up and were able to sit and eat outside in the sunshine. The view is incredible! We enjoyed our experience so much we asked to book again last night.nThe Manager Lee and all the staff are extremely friendly, accommodating and the food is delicious.nWe had steak, dressed crab, lobster and the children had macaroni cheese.nIdeal for children, I didn't worry about my 2 year old occasionally having a moment which any parent can relate to!
We spent 2 weeks in Fowey and kept returning to Havener's for drinks and food because of the exceptional staff and service. The manager has clearly got it right, all the staff are so welcoming and friendly and all of them seem to love their job! Difficult to find staff like this in hospitality. Didn't get all their names but Cat and Char were just 2 of them. We had a variety of food from the menu. All very good. Particularly liked one of the specials - a curry - it was delicious. We will definitely be returning.
