Currently our favourite pub. They've got it just right IMHO, well stocked bar (fine ales and many gins) well prepared food at reasonable prices, and very efficient but informal service. Dress up for an evening out in the restaurant, or turn up straight from work, bring your dog (or horse!) The reception is always friendly.

An excellent find. Delicious food and friendly service. I had Cajun chicken and large garlic bread, all very tasty. Friend had steak pie and said the pastry was amazing. Everyone helpful even down to the locals who held the door while I got my Gran inside.

After 7 years in UK I have founded how fish and chips should taste. Really impressed :O much better then other ones which I've tried.

Love it.Sunday lunch was gorgeous. Too much tho.biggest Yorkshire puddings I've ever seen.great food and desert's are delicious.. A must go to see for yourself.

I stay here regularly for work and it's always a pleasure. The food is amazing, the rooms are lovely and very comfortable and the staff great.
