Very good value B&B run by charming, friendly family. Nice rooms and super breakfasts. Wouldn't even dream of going anywhere else when we are in the lovely locale of Nailsworth.

The owners are very friendly, and their B&B is very clean. We stayed in the double rooms upstairs and found them quite comfortable, firm beds, clean, hot water, complementary fixings to make tea. Full English breakfast, nicely done and made to order comes with some friendly chat with the owner. Gated parking means you can't arrive too late but keeps your car secure. If you are visiting the area, would recommend a short stay here.

I must say I have had a fantastic stay at "The Laurels" and was delighted to have all my requests met perfectly. It is a breath of fresh air to stay at a family run B&B that is welcoming and relaxed. My room was absolutely immaculate and had a wonderful view from my window and all amenities were spotless.(extra points for the comfy bed by the way) My breakfast was what you would expect from such a lovely little B&B and came with as many toppings for my toast one could imagine. Richard, Leslie and Emilie were extremely helpful and know the local area really well and pointed me in the direction of some wonderful places to see and do, AND were more than happy to take me down to the local pub and join me for a pint and a wonderful meal. I look forward to staying with them again soon and would recommend them to anyone who is staying in the area! Thanks Gang! :D

I have returned to this lovely family run B & B for the fifth time. The welcome was amazing as though returning to old friends. What a difference to the faceless experience of hotel chains. In the past, I always preferred to use the chain so that I knew what I was getting. That was before I experienced The Laurels. It has always been clean and welcoming. It is a lovely 'quirky' old house, full of charm which I now view as home from home. It's somewhere to retreat to when things get too busy in the outside world. I would doubt that there is any accommodation anywhere that could rival the cooked breakfast served at The Laurels. Awesome. It's lovely to park up and be greeted with a warm welcome from Richard, Lesley, Emilie, Seamus and Izzy (the hounds) and Ronnie and Reggie (the cats). I can't wait to return for my next visit.

We had the most wonderful time the night we spent here. Hope to return and spend more time. Lesley and Richard were wonderful hosts and most accommodating. They went out of their way to welcome us and see that we enjoyed our visit. The stream side room was great (only downside was the shower basin was too shallow and we worried about flooding the room).
