Attended A wedding here. It was a lovely day. I am disabled and currently rely on a wheelchair. It was difficult (but not impossible) to accommodate. Other than that the day was lovely. The bar prices were very reasonable. We stayed overnight - The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was tasty! Over all we were very pleased! It's a lovely hotel!

We love it here! An amazing building packed with history and what’s really great is there are so many little areas to explore or sit and sip. My favourite is the new bit outside and I can’t wait for summer, but then the logfire by the bar is awesome too. The bar staff always make an excellent g&t and fizz is on offer on Fridays! Win!

The bear is located on the top of rodborough common with ample parking. The reception area was cosy and welcoming, along with the staff. Upon arrival we were checked in swiftly and given our room key. The room was a generous size with 2 arm chairs a TV and a modern bathroom. The room was well decorated although the windows were above the kitchen extraction fan which made opening them unpleasant. The building was well signposted to get to the bars and restaurants.

Lovely feel to the place, great breakfast with lots of choice, lovely location. Staff are always friendly and the food is good. We stay there every year and it is consistantly very good.

Beautiful pub with a beautiful views and a beautiful garden. We ate in the bar, there was a range of traditional pub grub and grills which were all done to a good standard!
