Built in 1601, a great traditional pub, in the glorious Cotswolds. Friendly staff and genuine warmth. Real fire with real logs! Good beer too.

Lovely meal for four, reasonably price food and ale, the ham was really good, and the Woodchester whopper burger was huge as was the Fryday (great marketing) haddock. Good selection of ales and cider, I had the Flat Tyre rhubarb cider which was surprisingly tasty and pink.
