We’ve recently found this wonderful pub The Ram in South Woodchester. The new owners Josie and Mike assisted by lovely Lottie are such nice people that are doing a wonderful job of the renovation and their personalities have already attracted a loyal following of particularly locals that quite obviously love having their local pub back. An impressive range of local real ales at reasonable prices. They are currently still working on the kitchen but in the meantime offer an excellent vast choice of light lunches including fabulous Ham Egg and Chips and an impressive Ploughman’s with home cooked Ham three Cheeses and loads of add-ons. We lunch there and take friends who are all blown away by the quality of the food offerings. This lovely team have very quickly made an instant success and created a very welcoming atmosphere. Signposted off the A46 and a large car park. Try it you’ll love it as we do.
Good atmosphere and service. The food was excellent. There were nine of us - we shall go again !
The Ram is such a great community venue. Really enjoyed pop up street food, good wine and the company of friends this evening.
Stopped in for drinks and lunch after a long walk around the area. Excellent food and very friendly landlord and bar staff. Locals seemed friendly too. We will return.
Great local pub. Lovely staff.
