Good was excellent. A bit of uncertainty about gluten free food. However they delivered on this. 1 member of my party was gluten free. Lovely surrounding, especially after a long walk at the white horse at uffingdon. Staff here were very friendly. There is a great choice of beverages hot and cold.  The menu is simply with very attractive plates they make presentation a priority. They even have a specials board.  They also  have screens for sports and were showing 6 nations rugby. This never interfered with our lunch, as they have the conservatory which is the restaurant. An absolute must visit.

This place is a few miles from our village, but well worth the drive. Lovely pint of Guinness and very good food - I  never even knew that there was an admiral's pie until we tried it here (it's like a captain's pie but with better ingredients, hence the name, and it was really good).

Lovely old pub with great views of the ridegway. Friendly atmosphere from locals and walkers. Food was great, well kept beer and warm welcome from all. Would definitely recommend and will be returning very soon

Perfectly reasonable B&B. Comfortable and clean. Nothing amazing but no problems.

We went for a sunday roast to celebrate a friends birthday. I thought £15 for a roast was a tad expensive but it was delicious - good service and great food. Would definitely go back, and well worth it!
