What a wonderful venue, nice to see how busy the restaurant was and a baby shower being held upstairs nice to see the place is doing so well. Amazing staff, one waitress stood out , she could not do enough and really made our parents wedding anniversary special- (black dress) - didn't catch her name. Food was great would definitely recommend and will be seeing you very soon. My Aunt commented on how superb the Hake was too. Thank you, beautiful restaurant.

We’ve eaten three times at the refurbished four stones and unfortunately the quality of the food has got progressively worse. Most recently, little care had gone into the food we ordered, both in terms of the quality of produce and cookery. Without going into detail, if you pay £20 for a main course that is served with a bowl of frozen mixed veg, you have to wonder about the quality of the rest of the dish. We live locally and really would love this place to live up to its potential, in a such a lovely setting, but unfortunately it doesn’t come close to the genuinely good food at The Fountain, The vine or the Belboughton pubs.

We sat in the conservatory, and as it was a nice summers evening it was absolutely fabulous. We had both had 3 courses. Starter was lovely although did expect homemade piccalilli with the terrine, although it was ok. Duck breast was delicious however the accompanying potatoes and seasonal vegetables were very disappointing. The microwaved vegetables from the supermarket, consisted of mainly green beans, half a piece of corn and not even a full floret of cauliflower. All of which was between two people. The table next to us received lots of cauliflower and only a few green beans and a piece of corn. I suppose it depends what mixture is in the small microwaveable bag that they open! Dessert was light and dark chocolate cheesecake which we had to pay an extra £1.50 to have a small accompaniment of ice cream with it?!?!? Starter and main course were rushed through pretty quickly so we asked to wait before dessert came. Had to ask for things a few times, spoons for coffee, bill but other than that service was ok. For the price of the meal I really don’t think these issues should be happening!

Food good. Service mediocre. Only us , table of 5, for lunch on Friday and service painfully slow. Order missed one person no apology until asked when food arriving. No check during meal to enquire if all was ok. Dessert offered then no menu given until asked twice. Staff polite but no genuine customer service . Don't actually think 2 girls smiled throughout 2 1/2 hours we were there. Felt like waiting to leave so could close. Beautiful setting ,food good but definitely lacking customer service. A little disappointed.

Well after trying to get in for weeks. What a let down. I would like to think we have eaten on some very nice restaurants. However if you would like pre prepared oven warmed food then the four stones is right up your ally. Not to mention I managed to watch for the full duration of our meal the chef physically pulling food from his own teeth. Another eating a bit of what ever moved past him. And well the last having a dance off. And before you think he’s just had a bad meal. The waiters almost looked depressed. Once and once only for me.
