Fab service ,hot fresh food best curry. No problem with altering the curry with extra garlic ect .
Excellent quality food, polite & helpful staff. Good seating capacity. The Keema Naans were superb. Highly recommended!
The outside and inside are great, very clean and modern. There was a lot of people in the night we went and almost full but there were plenty of staff, service however was on the slow side. The food was fine, my madras was thinner than expected but very tasty and fewer than average accompaniments to the poppadoms were provided. One problem was that they don't give out plates with a meal or warmers to stop the food getting cold. You'll have a good experience but not a great one, there are better places out there.
The only balti house I use in lye. welcoming friendly staff who look very presentable, excellent tasting food that is very filling and great value. you definitely get your moneys worth. Stylish front of house that is kept tidy and clean and I like the little touches like the wipes after your meal, the chocolate with the bill and the staff opening and holding the door for you when you enter and leave and say hello and good bye to you and thank you for custom. Never had a bad experience with them, have only ever had excellent service when I eat here would recommend to family and friends as well
Food was excellent and good value, delivered in time by a pleasant man. Only 3 stars as it was on the cool side and both bags of chips had more black ones than edible ones.
Starters were spot on, I was disappointed with the keema nan but everything else was very good. Cheese nan was good and chips were nice too and not greasy. Chicken in the balti was good with no fat and was all breast. Apart from the keema nan I would honestly give it a 10/10 and a 10/10 for service and staff politeness. We will be returning soon.
Used to be amazing, but it's changed hands and gone downhill. Service was fine, but the korma made my cousin ill, and she's no snowflake. My tika was mild, sweet and had dry pre-cooked plain chicken mixed in the sauce.
Wonderful food, friendly staff. We have only been a couple times, but they all still remember us. It is a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Had a take-away and was not impressed. Wife went there and raved about how good it was so decided to try. Had a Dupiaza as that is the 'benchmark' I use for anywhere new, unfortunately all the hype was not lived up to. The chicken was bland and watery as was the sauce. When i tipped up the plate, water was running off it. Never again, will i eat there, as something as simple as that was not good, I cannot think what the specialities will come out like.
I cannot understand some of the critical comments people have made about this restaurant; that is unless they are perfectionists and/or into bottom burningly hot curries! This has to be one of the best Kashmiri, Bangladeshi restaurants anywhere in the UK. The food is divine, it has taste, depth of flavour and doesn't require 5 pints of larger to quench the fire on your tongue afterwards and the hospitality there is second to none. No one is perfect and yes mistakes are made on the odd occasion but I must have had more than 200 meals in or from there and never ever had a bad one!
