Visited here to try 'the best Sunday roast in Britain' and have to say that I wasn't disappointed. The staff were friendly and attentive, service was very swift and the food was delicious. The only very tiny gripes - it is pretty expensive and the service charge was automatically included. The plate for my starter was way too big see picture and the main could have been a little hotter for me. Although my girlfriend felt it was hot enough, so probably just me. Other than that, everything was excellent.
I and my girlfriend went for our first Valentine's Day date at the restaurant. It was a very good experience. The waitresses were very pleasant, the atmosphere was great and the food was very delicious. We had a seven course Valentine's Day menu, Some people would say the portions were on the small side, we did not feel full at the end of the meal but just right. Perhaps depends on if you are a big eater or not. Overall, I'd recommend to go if you'd like to try something different.
Really enjoyed ourselves here. The atmosphere was really relaxed, the drinks were lovely especially the godfather, oh wow and the food was marvelous, especially the duck. The sticky toffee pudding was also amazing! We will be going back.
What a great place. The surroundings are comfortable and the food is second to none. Great friendly service. After our beautifully cooked and well presented starters and main which we all shared and enjoyed we were able to sit outside in the sun. We enjoyed our deserts and a bottle of wine in the comfortable outdoor seating area. Can't wait for next time
Everything and more. Front of house were on par with the food that came out. Which was excellent. Not your usual pretentious lot you normally associate with good food. They were super cool and explained everything in a fashion to put you at ease. I won’t go on about the food as it scratched every itch in had. Enough said. Even managed to get a snap with Matt which pardon the pun , was the icing on the cake ! We will be back.
Fabulous place, great atmosphere, fab playlist, food was amazing and the service was second to non. Can't wait to come back and try the menu. But definitely a new fave for sunday lunch
I've seen a few bad posts about the place. Staff attentive, food bloody lovely. They've changed how they serve it. I can understand that in this time of CV19. But by christ it still tasted amazing. Well played to the cooking type people. Nothing bad cad be said. The serving staff though attentive, weren't in your face which was really nice.
Went for a 40th celebration as a group of 4. Without exception, every dish was beautifully presented and tasted equally delicious. The whole party agreed it was a great experience. It's pricey, but you get what you pay for. Will definitely return.
Brilliant, innovative fun food. Very very tasty. Great place for groups, cool environment.
Awesome food, in a great space. Shared 4 small plates for lunch +dessert each. Really nice. Here's a pic of the eel.
