Called to the old Tetley Brewery before playing out in Leeds, couple of beers & food. Had the beef brisket sandwich, extra fries & onion rings! Asked if the onion rings were frozen or fresh? were they fresh alright BEST ONION RINGS BY FAR & the sandwich was banging too chef done well 5*
We chose The Tetley for our wedding as we were looking for a central location that would be warm, casual and a great backdrop for photos. We had a really great experience planning the wedding with Holly, and all communication was effective and efficient. We also felt that we were listened to every step of the way and all of our opinions and ideas were catered for. On the day, the staff were amazing and couldn’t help us enough! All our guests commented on how amazing the food was pie and chips was perfect for our wedding day! and the rooms looked absolutely stunning. We can’t thank the staff enough for looking after us and setting up the rooms exactly as we wished, and we’ll never forget the friendly feel of The Tetley.
We held our 25th Wedding Vow Renewal Reception at The Tetley and what a service they provided! Nothing was beyond them. Holly looked after us from our first visit all the way through to the day it self. She ensured EVERYTHING went smoothly. She gave us details of an Excellent DJ and Sax combo plus Magician, Artist, Photo Booth and even let us pull our first pint instead of cutting a cake! Most of which were organised by her and her team so nothing missed and everything went so smooth. We keep hearing so many good comments about the food from the "Yorkshire Horderves" to the burgers, dessert grazing table and chip butties at 10:00pm! The food and drinks package were excellent! We can't say anything bad about the venue and the way it were organised. We even had photos in the legendary Boardroom. Well done Holly, your Team and of course The Tetley. Thank you and we have no issues in recommending you in the future! In fact we already have!
Had a great morning here seeing the Afra Eisma exhibition and exploring the Tetly board room. Brunch was really really good! Nice atmosphere.
The good, the bad and the ugly. So, went to see art, spotted a few pieces. But mostly empty. Beautiful space and building, coffee shop and restaurant was great. Would I suggest it yes, it is free, simple and has coffee and cake too! Extra points if you can find the hidden face, see my photos.
Loved this urban space. Very cool to visit and kids loved the designer playroom. Great outside area too. Highly reccomend it.
The staff at the Tetley are so friendly and helpful. They did everything to help make our wedding run smoothly and stress free. They went above and beyond to provided additional touches like a personalised message on the blackboard and fixing the cake which I accidentally squashed. All our guests commented on how lovely the venue was too. Thank you!
Really enjoy the Tetley and love that it's hidden away across the river. The exhibitions are always interesting and 'different' and are nicely set among the individual rooms on the first floor. Didn't have a chance to eat in the cafe but the menu and all of the food that I saw looked delicious! All of the staff were really friendly. Lovely spot regardless of whether you're their for the art or the bar!
Pretty limited in its offering, other than an interesting building and a great cafe/bar, it's not worth visiting. The creative side of things let this place down. There is a distinct lack of things for kids to do or engage with. No space for colouring in, no seating areas and limited info on the art itself.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
A beautiful gallery space with exciting and unusual exhibitions! Friendly and helpful staff and an amazing range of events. I took part in one of the publishing workshops, which was a great chance to get involved, meet like-minded people and learn from the Designers-in-Residence. One of my favourite spots in Leeds!
