Such an amazing experience! My daughter absolutely LOVED getting outdoors, active and meeting new people. The instructors were very knowledgeable, fun and engaging. I would 100% recommend the 3 hour taster session, as I found it to be a great way to introduce your child/ren to different watersports.
It was great! Did a Windsurf improvers 4h course and it was amazing. A bit difficult if you've not practiced it before, but absolutely loved it. The instructor clearly knew all about the air theory to explain to us why we'd be moving this way or the other or not at all. A great half day in the lagoon, lucky enough to have good weather to finish off with a bit of practice in the sea. 100% recommend it. I'll try it again until I'm super good at it
This is a very popular water sports centre at Hove, especially in summer, a lot of people and families will spend a day there to enjoy it. You can take a good picture there no matter what time you go there. It is also a very good location for dog walk and therefore you can meet a lot of the lovely dogs there. Come and meet them when you are free !
Friendly staff. A place worth checking out. They have one day introductory courses and packages for anyone who would like enjoying water sports.
Came as a nice walk, even if not participating, it is really fun to watch. Also if you get peckish at all, fatboy slims cafe - Big Beach Café is right next door!
We had a 9 year old SUP birthday party at the Lagoon and we could not fault it. The girls had an amazing time on the water- Finn was really good with them. Food service after was also great and meant we didn't have to do anything apart from watching kids having a lovely time.
Wow!! Fantastic place! Safe environment to learn a variety of water sports. Students supported and encouraged to do their best.
We bought the Wakeboarding Taster for 2 and had a great experience! Nice environment, our trainer Jude was 10/10. Would definitely recommended!
This was my first time using Hove Lagoon Watersports. Everyone I spoke too was very friendly and helpful. I signed up for a SUP taster session, but brought one of there vouchers were you get 6 tokens so I used 2 tokens for this course. The instructor was clear, friendly and knowledgeable. I was stood up within about 15 minutes of being on the water. I fell in 5 times, and actually it's really warm when you fall in with the wetsuit on, so it's actually quite fun. I was on a the course with 2 others who were both very nice. You get a decent amount of time on the water to practice, and the space you practice in feels safe and is perfect for learning.The venue is clean, including changing room and toilets. Overall it was a great experience. As I said before every member of staff was friendly and approachable. I'd recommend coming here if you want to learn water sports. I'm looking forward to my next course.
