Really regret not reading the reviews as most others have reported similar issues. The order was delivered a day later than the delivery date and upon inquiry was told it’s due to the county being outside of their delivery area. It also looks completely different than pictures online. Terrible customer service when I contacted to inquire about the delay. Never had such a disappointing experience, this business should not be open.
I ordered flowers for my daughter who was most unwell and they were delivered same day at short notice. The flowers were absolutely beautiful, lasted a long time and delivered by someone who wished her a good recovery and was really kind . Delighted with the price and service. Thank you so much.
Do yourself a favour and don’t order. A bouquet was purchased for around £60 and when I asked about the quality of the order having received it and sent photos of the poor work they said ‘it wasn’t that much money’. Flowers had been hacked at, were crazy different lengths and had all the lower leaves left on, which had gone mushy. Company claim that this is all normal for hand tied flowers. A real shame as they were a gift and the person ordering also reports they were short and unhelpful on the phone when chasing delivery too. I don’t like to leave a negative review but tried to solve over email to no avail.
Very disappointed! the company has Zero respect for customers, starting to blame me for “my mistakes” ? and that its my own fault? Regarding the delivery What kind of company treats and tells their customers that? So unprofessional and very dishonest! The presentation of the flowers wasn’t as described also the chocolates were rubbish at least send nice chocolates in a nice little box not in a plastic bag as it were bought from the shop last minute. Never buying anything from this place ever again. £70 wasted
The flowers arrived a day late after stating they were waiting for replenishment and would add extra flowers for the delay. Deliveratelu ordered a bouquet worth £58 plus 6.95 delivery all yellow and unfuzzy. As per the picture. Tulips and stocks are in season. I was delivered a bouquet as per the second picture.fuzzy, half dead daisys mainly foliage and white with odd yellow. Complained on the day they weee delivered and offered to send back. Chased with a phone call and email. I got a reply back offering a refund of 30% of flower price as a goodwill gesture. I said I didn’t want the flowers as most had to be thrown or would accept £30 refund as would cost a lot to return. Despite trading standards rules and the Comsumer Credit Act rules relating to time of the essence, must meet description and fit for purpose, the flower yard said their terms and conditions permitted them to substitute at will and tough. Hence, they will deliver whatever they have in stock regardless of what you are expecting to deliver. They then said I could return them but as it was a Friday they would get them on Monday possibly and would only refund what they could reuse. This company is therefore a fraud. Unless you don’t care what type of flowers are delivered and when, don’t use them. You will however get something so if you don’t care what they look like or what state they are in then go ahead. None the less the retailer has now resolved this matter and hopefully will amend their website to make it clear that they may substitute and obtain the clients consent. Equally the customer will need to make it clear that they don’t want the flowers to be sent if substituted. As I said, you will receive a nice bunch of flowers one way or another, just maybe not what you were expecting and paid for.
I ordered lilies for a sympathy bouquet and selected today's date on the ordering page. Paid for the order. Then, received an email saying no more lilies today AND that I did not pay for same day.. I reply that we can substitute the flowers, I just need them today. No reply. So I call.. and instead of working with me to get alternate flowers, the woman on the other end just wanted to argue over whether or not I paid for same day.. News flash! I really don't care if I did or didn't.. I would have been more than happy to pay the additional charge for delivery and even if the alt flowers were more expensive. I honestly did not see a 2nd time when one needed to AGAIN specify same day. Why does day selection happen twice anyway! I am 100% certain I was not the first to make this mistake.. perhaps, you should update your website. AND if I missed it, so what.. work with me to rectify it. Instead, she treated me very rudely, as if I was trying to con her into same day without paying.. SO petty! And so RUDE! I will never shop here again and I will make sure my friends know my experience.
I ordered flowers from The Flower Yard London at 06:30 in the morning, and they delivered exactly as I wanted by 11:45 on the same day. The flowers looked stunning and fresh! Highly recommend them for their promptness and beautiful arrangements.
Wish I had read the reviews before placing the order. Paid £20 for same day delivery, the bouquet delivered 2 days later. No response from the company to any of my emails. Don’t waste your money!!
Lesson learn - read reviews before ordering- Website looked professional and the flowers shown were different/unique with other online florist. So deided that it was ok to pay a premium to get a pretty bunch but i was so disappointed when it arrived at my friends place. I am so embarrased to be sending her this bouquet - it is NOTHING like what i ordered - hydrangeas n cabbages were shown w roses n these flowers are not out of season, so i dont understand why there were replaced! In addition, the roses shown were those antique roses type n large ones, those delivered were small cheap roses. Cant believe i paid extra for this!! just look at the photos n decide yourself if they are worth buying from! photo on left is what was delivered, photo on right is what i ordered!
Don't bother, totally unreliable. Placed an order on Sunday for Monday delivery and I was told they could do Tuesday. Ok.... Today Tuesday l, I've just been asked if they could do Wednesday instead. I said no, it needs to be today. Their reply...? Hi, We do apologise we will have to cancel and refund you. The Flower Yard Team Pathetic customer service.
