Food fantastic, staff even better. Thank you for a brilliant meal and great evening. If it wasn’t 400 miles away from us we’d be back all the time. The smuggler’s tunnels and the history of the building make it well worth a stop off.
Nice old pub with lots of history near lands end. Has a smuggling hole to boot. Live music throughout the year every fortnight/month depending on the season. Plenty of parking. Very chatty, friendly service. Has a games room with dartboard and pool table. Does food. Recommended Parking: Big carpark
This place is, as advertised, is pretty much the last place you can get a beer of you approach Land's End. They have one or two ales on and a variety of other drinks. I've not tried the food, but the menu looked pretty minimal. It has a spacious outdoors area at the back and plenty of parking. Being rather spacious in a distant populated area means getting a seat is relatively easy.
Staying at the Lands End Hotel which owns this pub as well - the staff are friendly and it has a nice relaxed family atmosphere, with a good selection of beers and wines We came here for a lat Sunday lunch and it was pretty good, good portions and tasty.
We drank quietly in the corner of this old dark wood bar hoping not to disturb the locals who all looked like they were planning there next smuggling event. Probably still using the old tunnels. Seriously great atmosphere
What a beautiful place! Lovely locals and owner! Made to feel very welcome! Our dog zeus got a lot of attention, and made a friend! Well done on your hard work! And the history that comes with it!
What a lovely pub the food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend The first and last inn.
We have been here few times but stopped here after we had been to lands end for lunch which was superb pizza and chips staff are very helpful and friendly and not bad prices would recommend Food: 5/5
Pulled in and parked up, went in and was greeted with good customer service and a smile, asked if we wanted just drinks or food and where we would like to sitCovid Safe We sat in the main bar, then we were given menus and ordered drinks first. The beer is kept well and the service was quick. The food turned up and is for pub standards really good and worth the money paid. The pub is well kept and decorated with old tools n pictures from yester year to give it the atmosphere. All in all if you're passing and you're hungry and thirsty, then this place is well worth the stop as the next pub is in America Fellow bikers take a side stand pad as most of the carpark is sand and gravel, bikers are welcome and the carpark exit is on a blind ish bend so be careful
I have driven past this pub hundreds of times but never actually called in. Hlad I did - great staff and atmosphere. There was a tremendous band playing High Voltage and the crowd were amazing - all ages mixing together for a fabulous evening. Staff working well as a team and facilities were great. Would recommend even in the off season. Kid-friendliness: Large outdoor children's play area out the back. Parking: Very large car park right behind the pub even big enough for an IN and OUT entrances. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. Very easy
