Here are the new menus. Have live entertainment on Fridays from 9pm and karaoke and disco every Saturday from 8:30pm. Dog and family friendly

Staff were friendly, but that's where the enjoyment stopped. 5 of us . Two had the ultimate burger, both were cooked within a inch of their lives . Very dry and cheap tasting. One mixed grill that was cold and overcooked. One fish and chips that got approval and a scampi and chips that was ok . It was so poor ,we didn't bother to complain about 90% of the food because we didn't want to look like we were out for a freebie, we will just not bother again, which is a shame as we've had good food in the past.

Used to eat here regularly and was pleased to hear that the new landlords had now started serving food again.nSadly I will not be returning. Even though they have a simple menu its overpriced, uses very poor quality ingredients and they desperately need a proper chef/cook. Presentation on the plate was abysmal. Not a good experience.

Just called back in here since it's been rebranded the beacon They're still keeping the traditional name The FfrithnJust met the landlord and one lady seemed like lovely people The place has been refurbished and decorated to a nice standard It has a friendly atmosphere to it I am sure it will do well in the summer season although we are in the middle of December and it still busy now

Bar looks beautiful and an amazing drink selection however was very disappointed in the new food. Pizza was luke warm and the beef had a bad aftertaste burger was okay the chicken tasted amazing but the beef and dry burger ruined it, service was great from the young lady behind the bar and was quick to help or fix any problems.
