We went to this restaurant today. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is lovely, and the food is not only plentiful and attractively presented, but also tastes simply wonderful.
Staff are very very very kind and courteous - above and beyond. In fact, I think customers really need to appreciate them more. Compared to other places around England that are super courteous here.nnIt's a large place with high ceilings which means sound travels.nnFood is good.nPortion sizes are correct.nnChapati was bigger than it should be, so Prestatyn, be very thankful.I would say dishes are adequately sized and correct.nnChapattis are normally the size of your hand so you're getting two to three handfuls worth here.nnNot authentic Indian restaurant as not owned by Indians as such but dishes are okay to good. They are catered for English or Welsh palates.nnA meal for two will set you back about £50 with 2 soft drinks.
This was by far the best Indian meal both myself and my Wife have ever had, and im not exagerating. Portion size was good and the meals were just amazing. I would score it 10 if i could
Average at best Indian food, with only ice cream available as a dessert.nBeer was flat and didn't taste very good either.nOrdered an English chicken dish for my wife and it was appalling. Basically overcooked chicken nuggets. When I asked the waiter if this was supposed to be fried chicken he said they were, and not nuggets. Yeah oknnWon't be going back
Genuinely a really nice Indian restaurant. The best service we've had in an Indian restaurant. High chairs available for baby/toddler on arrival.nGreat decor and tables had plenty of space and leg room.nnThe food is completely their own. Not like anywhere else we've eaten, really tasty, full of flavour and spice. The madras was milder than I'm used to but the strong flavour made up for it.nUpon arrival, we felt like the prices were slightly on the expensive side compared to other Indian restaurants But the high quality of the food and the service completely makes up for it.nHighly recommend chicken Tikka Shashlik with Madras sauce.nThe rice is better than anywhere else I've had it. The chutney tray also in their own league, completely their own and not like a standard Indian. Would happily come again!
