Story

Come along to The Exhibit every Wednesday night for an evening of life drawing like no other. Lead by professional artist and teacher Dan Whiteson, the focus is on encouraging freedom of expression and full engagement with the joy of the creative process. With over five years experience honing his unique approach to teaching, and combining his love of music with his passion for art, you can expect a truly memorable evening of creation, eating and drinking all set to an eclectic soundtrack.

At only £7 per person including all materials, this is life drawing with a difference. Affordable. Informal. Unique.

A splendid place! The Exhibit is a great fun venue, clearly a harlequin of a pub/bar/theatre/cocktail bar/etc. Maybe even a church on Sundays, who knows? Lovely staff good beer on keg, not much joy for the real ale drinkers as far as I can see. This is where the fish come to watch the humans!
We booked a private viewing for our team. The team at Exhibit looked after us for the whole evening, they were very polite helpful and attentive. The food was very good and the cocktails were absolutely delicious. If you are thinking of booking stop thinking and JUST DO IT! 10 out of 10........
I had a last minute bday request which was pleasantly accepted. Rosa and her team was absolutely perfect. It was so funny and very well served. My friends were so enthusiastic of the venue and music. I give 5 stars just cause I can't give more. Many thanks to the entire staff to make my bday so special. Strongly recommended for private parties and events
We had our summer staff party at The Exhibit in Balham and I really can’t thank the team enough. They looked after us and were so attentive. When half the group were delayed due to problems with taxis, they were very flexible and even offered us longer with the karaoke to make up for it as well as delaying the food to make sure nobody missed out. We hired the private cinema for two hours of karaoke and then had exclusive use of the Studio afterwards, with a private bar. We had a fantastic time and would definitely come back as it was such a great experience. I definitely recommend The Exhibit.
Booked the cinema room for my 20th bday party and it was THE BEST NIGHT EVER! Staff upgraded us to the bigger cinema room free of charge because there was a problem with the other projector, brought us Christmas crackers, and took such good care of us. I also paid for 2 hrs but our movie run late and they let us finish it as the venue wasn’t too crowded that night. Food was was super yummy have the mac & cheese! and they had v good tequila. We’re all central ldn students so rarely ever go too far but it was sooo worth it. Very fun night!
Beautiful decor and the staff are top tier. Their open mic poerty night on the last Thursday of each month is definitely one of the beat in London. Nice cocktails too.
Tom, such a gentleman!! Served us well and kept us fed and watered too! Very attentive & kept us topped up. Hostess with the mostess, don’t give this place a miss!! & definitely ask for Tom and don’t forget to big him up at the end of your amazing night!!! #ExhibitBalham
Pleasantly surprised with this venue! Went on Sat night dance, the music was fantastic I am super fussy with my music. DJ name is Jay Baptiste. He made a great night with best tunes - a bit of hip hop, RnB, some classic pop - think Whitney, Beyonce, Biggie, Montel Jordan, 50 Cent, Marvin Gaye etc. The venue is over 3 floors upstairs for private parties, different music on each floor. The club is nice and spacious, with some seating, toilets clean no toilet attendant, which I prefer!, fast and friendly service at the bar - no queues, bouncers at the door very handsome and polite. And it it free entry!!! Free parking over night is available in Sainsbury's 30 meters from Exhibit - do not drink and drive though! ; Would definitely go back and recommend to others!
Booked the Studio for my 30th birthday through Tag Venue and the team were so great! They responded to my messages almost instantly and gave me all the info I needed to get set up. I had my own DJ so they set up the table and got all of the wires ready to connect to the sound system. The bartenders were really quick to serve us so nobody was left waiting too long for a drink! Overall the room was the perfect size for about 50 people and I absolutely loved it! Would definitely book again for another birthday or celebration!!
Lovely bar and super friendly host team. I booked The Studio for a private party. We were made to feel very welcome and someone was in the room with us behind the bar at all times to assist us with any music or lightening adjustments. The room was nicely set out and the bar was well stocked. Would definitely recommend. Ellie from the events team was particularly helpful and responsive. The food we ordered was tasty on the day. Thank you! One of our friends wanted a drink that could only be made downstairs, due to lack of ingredients upstairs, would have been nice for her to be sent this instead of having to go and request it herself
