"Only a stone’s throw from Balham Station, situated just off the hustle and bustle of Balham High Road, Balham Bowls Club is a stunning public house-cum-social club at the heart of the Balham community. If you’re looking for good time with loved ones, friends, family, neighbours, pull up a chair and enjoy a meal cooked by our lovely head chef, Miro or prop up the bar and have a gander at the Bowls Club memorabilia from days gone by.Our kitchen offers a snacking Bar Menu throughout the pub and sit-down Dining Menu, serving a fresh seasonal menu. Sunday’s are a family affair reminiscent of sitting round the table at Gran’s with a traditional roast with giant Yorkshire puddings and mouth watering gravy to boot."

What a most wonderful atmosphere with very friendly staff francesca, Duncan and others and the amazing chef, Miro. His roasts are out of this world - just amazing. The flavours and tenderness of the meats is hard to beat. You must go! The sticky toffee pudding is the best too. We'll be back! We'll done all at Balham Bowls Club
It is great to see these old members clubs throwing throwing the doors to the public and retaining the atmosphere of the old days. Great atmosphere I was there on a Saturday night early, a couple of days before the Queen Elizabeth II funeral.
Food was amazing. My friend has the Bone Marrow Burger and I had the Vegan Burger, both were absolutely delicious. Pints were cold and tasty too. The decor is vintage. Love it
Friendly service but the food was appalling. Every product in the roast was dry and bland. Good thing is they allow dogs but wouldn't recommend this place to eat. *response to establishment* - wow, if that was the standard of food on a quiet day, I wouldn't like to come on a busy day!
Balham bowls club is a pub and restaurant keeping with the aesthetic of the bowls club with leader boards and lots of wood throughout. There's a separate area for the restaurant with lots of space for large groups. I recently went with a table of 15 for a book club meetup which the pub was able to accommodate. Food and portion size was good, their Bitter was excellent and very cheap.
Nice quiet venue close the main streets of Balham, ideal for family social activities. The venue is very large with a number of different rooms you can sit in, staff are very friendly.
A pleasant old established pub and club with several rooms, front and rear beer gardens and a huge function room on the first floor. The club is a very friendly British club complete with pub and traditional British food known for its Sunday roast. Plenty of seating throughout both indoors and outdoors.
Great dark rambling pub with well priced beers. A must if your in Balham.
Awesome pub! Super cute decor. Staff are always friendly and will go out of their way to help. Food is delicious especially the roast on a Sunday. Dog-friendly!
Great food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. What more do you need.
