Spend time with us for great pub food in a place you'll love. We serve classic dishes with a modern twist - it's the perfect place to get together with familly and friends. The Red Lion is an historic 18th century building nestled in the heart of Stratford-Upon-Avon. Our traditional pub restaurant is the ideal place to take time out from enjoying the town's many attractions, such as Shakespeare's birthplace, Warwick Castle and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Our large garden area is located next to the canal and is perfect for al fresco dining in the summer months, or if the weather is less than clement you can cosy up inside with a delicious plate of freshly cooked pub food.

Enjoyed a family meal in comfortable surroundings + a high chair for a little one, without being squashed. Food was very/good & reasonably priced. Pay for parking but hand in for a refund

Lovely welcoming pub. Nice and warm on a cold winter's night. Great food and fast and friendly service.

It is a very good place with amazing food, it varies in what food you can have and it has an outside and inside place to sit well as a as a grassy area for children to play in

Simple straightforward excellent value pub food. Good beers and wines at very reasonable prices. Efficient and friendly staff ( especially Matt )make for a pleasant everyday dining experience

Always good here. Wide ranging standard, kids' and special holiday menus changed regularly, service is fast and efficient, staff friendly and helpful, especially with kids and the elderly. Recommended.
