Decent place, couldn’t fault it. Vegetarian breakfast was a little lacklustre but otherwise was nice. Coffee was nice and service was great. Prices were standard to that of a brunch spot; about £8 a plate.
Very cool and warm vibes. Some of the places that give this alternative sparkle in the area of Hackney. Wide variety of food and drinks. 70’s-90’s retro music funk and pop make your breakfast even more delightful while staring at Regents canal. You should definitely give it a go. The prices are not the lowest or the most expensive you can find either. Also loved the plants ‍
Nice little café, good food recommend the big breakfast, but the Eggs Benedict are also great. The peppermint leaves in the water carafe are a nice touch. Good coffee. -Currently cash only
Super place, friendly staff and delicious food. Staff were very happy to make changes always there to help. Go visit and enjoy.
We came for brunch the morning after the night before: the coffee is great, and the food is spot on they nailed the poached eggs. The staff are friendly and they brought a bowl of water for the dog without being asked which was a lovely touch. Good job!
Slow service 30 min to make some scrambled eggs, cash only, hipster vibe. Plays lots of triphop.
A real surprise. Went there randomly with some friends and decided to get food. Staff incredibly friendly and relaxed. We got some ricotta and spinach balls, sea bass and the French soup. Food was cooked very well, it was very tasty but not heavy or overly loaded with sauces. The dessert was again great. It felt like a proper restaurant with proper cooking. Also the prices are reasonable so...highly recommended.
What a cute place with great food and lovely prices. Sides were a bit overpriced, please put a bit more effort /ingredients in the salad etc. They take reservations and are now open 7 days a week! On a Saturday night all tables were occupied, but no people waiting at the door. At 11 pm the coffee machine was cleaned and all guests left. Broadway market is just around the corner and great to continue the night. Thanks and see you soon.
Quite a standard brunch menu that you’d find in many of Hackney’s brunch spots. But that doesn’t mean they didn’t deliver! The sourdough was perfect and the avocado so creamy and smashed to perfection. They do a great coffee to perk you up too!
Supposed to open at 0800. We showed at 0815 and they still didn't even have all the table chairs down or the doors open. We walked around for ten minutes and came back and were able to go in. We sat ourselves and were told the unfortunately the hollandaise sauce wouldn't be ready for another 20 minutes. We opted to wait for it since it is on majority of the menu items so what's the point without it. I had a nicely decorated cappuccino while waiting. We ordered eggs Benedict and dry toast with two poached eggs. The Benedict came out, but had to wait for the toast since he forgot to make it dry. Once we got the toast we began eating thinking the poached eggs were coming. They never came. However, the server apologized and said this was just an off day for them. He gave us free orange juice and took some off the bill. All in all, decent food and hip place, but they were having a ROCKY Monday morning. Music and jam were good.
