Story

A bar in a church… yep, you heard right!
Set within a deconsecrated church in the Lace Market, Pitcher & Piano Nottingham is truly iconic. Stained glass windows, church candles, vintage bric-a-brac and cosy Chesterfields… we could spend all day in this bar.

Lunch promises hearty sandwiches and juicy burgers, or if you fancy a light bite one of our £6.50 dishes with a drink will do just the trick.

Fridays & Saturdays are all about our classic and house cocktails, fine wines and premium draught, beers, ciders and ale for a great night out. If you’re coming to visit on a Sunday there’s nothing better than our delicious roast between 12pm – 5pm every week, especially our sharing roast for 4 people.

If you’re heading over with a group of friends make sure you plan ahead and make a booking to ensure you get the best seats in the house.

This place is just fantastic. It's a beautiful old church turned into a restaurant & bar. I had one of my now favourite vegetarian burgers of all time: fried halloumi with harissa mayo. I went back for it at least 3 times. Plus, you get little discount coupons every time you go. You will be ID'd at night though.

The setting is simply stunning, a large converted church with subtle light changes highlighting the beautiful architecture. Food is reasonably priced and the service can sometimes be slow at busy times, having said that the service is friendly. A great place to chill and soak up the views if you're not on a hurried timetable.

This have been a favourite place of mine since I started drinking! Incredible venue, such atmosphere here even if it's empty! The food is fantastic, the Guinness is good and the staff are great. The bar can get busy in the evenings so get your order in early!

This is a really nice cosy place with a good atmosphere and decent prices. Only gripe is that they don't have numbered tables so explaining to staff where to take food can be quite annoying but other than that its great.

From the time you walk through the door you are met by super friendly staff and an amazing backdrop of stained glass windows. The waiter was friendly. The cocktails and food is second to none. We love visiting Pitvher & Piano in Nottingham. Truley romantic setting

Nice quirky building that started life as a church. Many of the original features still in place. Serves nice food and a good selection for vegetarians. Nice outdoor seating/eating area. Nice polite staff.
