Cheap and cheerful, does the job I guess! I can only describe this as staying at your nan and grandads or staying in one of the rooms on resident evil mansion... very old fashioned and dull looking, once you get through the broken front door you need to search for the man at a desk with a laptop who you hand your card and he books you in and you get a code for your door.. once you go up the tiny stairs and hear the creeks and banging from the other doors you'll finally use your password for the door. Our room was very small and smelt musky, we were pleased with the shower on suite, that was Good, but we had to rely on a electric heater as the radiators were not working... it wasn't the best but we thought for the price it wasn't that bad. I wouldn't say the location was great but for one night it was fine. You could hear every bang and noise this old house made and then me and the girlfriend were woken to a load of drunks who woke up everyone else. That was the only downside. I personally thought this did the job... this is more of a guest house.

**THERE WAS AN ACTUAL LADDER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROOM** We booked a room at about £50 for one night. We were going to a wedding reception so didn't want to spend a fortune on a room. I wasn't expecting much and have stayed in quaint little B&Bs for around that price and size before, no problem. The pictures on the website looked simple but well kept. However, on arrival we were greeted by a man who looked like he was a lodger there himself - he took a look at my booking details, pointed us upstairs saying "you know where you're going. Any problems, give me a shout." Then off he went. When we got upstairs, we were greeted by none other than a ladder in the middle of the room! The light was strobing - giving us both a headache and there was damp all over the ceilings and walls. We both agreed that we had no choice but to go and find the owner ie the man who had told us to give him a shout if need be. We looked around the tiny little guest house for about 15 mins before we really had to get ready to go. There was no sign of him anywhere. We upped and left and found a Travelodge in a service station for £40 with free breakfast! I'm not one to complain, but this is simply unacceptable. The room was not fit for us to stay in. I have photographs if needed but would really like to get a full refund, please.

Very ideal place for a cosy weekend away. We stayed 2 nights and was very pleased with the room. 20mins from nightclubs and 5mins walk to the high street which is full of shops, restaurants, pubs and banks ect. Shower was powerful and the bed is very comfortable. Driveway has sufficient room for up to 5/6 cars but you can park on the roads either opposite or around the corner. We stayed in a Studio room which has a good kitchen with a microwave, 2 hobs, fridge and sink. Basic cooking equipment is provided. Bedroom has a sofa, double bed and small flat screen TV. Unfortunately we couldn't get a great connection to the Wi-Fi which was slightly inconvenient as there isn't much phone signal. Be sure to check out the Westquay centre for some lovely Mexican at Wahaca!!

Room and bed were too small for 2 people, tossing and turning all night, not very comfortable. I think it would be ok for just one person to stay. The bathroom was nice and clean though, just lacked power in the shower.
