Good food in a spacious and comfortable pub. Slow roasted pork belly is excellent. Plenty of corners and comfy seating if you fancy a long stay. Good parking.

Eat at the Duke regularly. Good choice on menu and prices are acceptable particularly the set 2 or 3 course meals. Always enjoyed my food. Staff friendly and always willing to assist. Welcoming pub and it's generally busy a reflection on its situation and quality.

Barman is perfect asset to a Warm, friendly environment. He is most welcoming and friendly with care and professionalism. He is a credit to the establishment. The food is good pub grub; substantial portions at a reasonable price. The only downside tonight was menu limited with quite a few items unavailable after a busy weekend.

Im sorry to say last night I had the worst meal of my life and my family didnt fare much better. We were informed after ordering that there was no steak pie and only 1 chicken pie I ordered cod and chips no cod I then chose half roast chicken My daughter chose another chicken dish Our meals eventually arrived long after the rest of our company My chicken was horrible a skinny greasy offering with little meat on it My daughter fared no better My sons curry had very little meat in it The onion rings were dried out and I noticed many people in the restaurant had left theirs The whole area was littered with dirty plates The chap who served us was pleasant and did apologise . The kitchen definitely lets the pub down I would not come back again and feel inclined to warn all my friends
