Welcome to The Ducies, one of Manchester's hidden gems. The Ducies has been under the present management team for 2 years and has established itself as a favorite watering hole for students, academics and local business people who enjoy unwinding and friendly conversation in this intimate, independent local.

The Ducies offers a delicious range of food during the lunch and early evening with a great choice of Alternative meat burgers and award winning sausages on offer plus traditional pub grub. To those that know us, we're recognised for an excellent selection of cask ales sourced from Brakspere, Banks, Ringwood, Wychwood, Marstons and Jennings breweries, Thatchers hand pulled 6% ciders, specialty continental beers with a small but excellent choice of bottles plus Hoegaarden on draught, good traditional pub grub plus some more unusual fare, (check out our 'Specials' page) and of course, the Ducies famous warm welcome all served up in a traditional cosy ambiance.

The Ducies is a cosy, proper traditional pub - a rare thing these days set amongst the myriad of bars that surround us, with a snug and a large outside area to share that feel good moment of when the sun shines; it's a welcome retreat for anyone and everyone. Come visit us for a quiet pint and a Llama burger and relax with other like-minded people who are getting to know one of the nicest pubs in Manchester.

We've got an excellent choice of cask ales and ciders as well as a selection of continental bottles to suit any beer lover!
