Very good food, poor service. Staff seemed apathetic. Service was one step above fast food. Draft service was broken when we were there. The chicken mushroom pie was tasty but a bit salty... the roast chicken was good
I was there last December. Great service and great food. All the patrons got along well. I enjoyed.
Very good, genuine pub feel, only had drinks and a starter, both very enjoyable. Walking distance from Paddington, which makes it even better.
Really like this place. Great beer and cosy atmosphere. Usually has football on if that’s your thing. Haven’t eaten here but food looks good. Quite close to the tube stations, and a place I feel comfortable going in on my own when I’m down working.
Really nice and helpful staff. Cozy seatings. The food was great and not to expensive. Was a bit load, so maybe not suitible for small children on an Saturday evening. But could work for friends and couples. Overall a really nice place to eat some great food and have an nice night out.
Small and well located pub near Paddington station and near to many of the smaller hotels. The food offering looked good and the menu was extensive, however the meals did not live up to expectations. The barman was friendly and the prices were reasonable - keep it in mind for a quick beer and break in sightseeing.
Come here occasionally but it's always a good experience when I do. A friend and I grabbed food here today - sausage and mash and a steak and ale pie and we shared both. Both more delicious than I was expecting!
Fine but more than half an hour to have a sharing platter... very long. Good food, good atmosphere. I dont think I will be back
Nice pub plenty of room. Does normal British pub food and screens for live sports. Good selection of beer
