Excellent food quality and good variety of dishes, largely made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Service is friendly and there is a very relaxed, cordial atmosphere - conducive for families - or a romantic meal for two.

Excellent fresh well cooked quality food. Good ales, service and atmosphere in a tranquil and beautiful village. Please improve the hand drier in the gents to achieve 5 stars.

Clean neat and tidy with a good range of food including locally sourced. Portion sizes are good and a very decent bar with well kept real beers. Tables are a little tight and the acoustics are a bit live for intimate and convivial conversation so a little more soft furnishing would help. Not our first visit and consistently worthy.

Food was ok, Service was incredibly slow! over an hour wait for Sunday lunch with a 2 year old to entertain was not a easy challenge! it felt like we got put in the corner and forgotten about.

Excellent service and one of the most delicious meals I have ever had out. Superb menu and excellent choice of drinks. Highly recommended!!
