Absolute gem of a place! We went away for a long weekend and nipped in for tea and we were all so glad that we did. Such a quaint pub in a superb little town. The food is home cooked and to perfection. Plates were left clean. Staff were so friendly and lovely. 1000% recommend visiting, you will not be disappointed.
We were boating on the Broads at Sutton Staithe. The hotel was fully booked and so walked the treacherous A149 to the Crown Inn which was about a mile away. After nearly being run over many times we found the pub. The staff were really friendly and the food lovely. In fact I would say it was the best meal we had on our holiday. All in all I would recommend this place. My advice though is to book a taxi which is what we did to get back to the boat.
2 great Chalets to stay in while in the area. Clean, tidy and everything needed to make your stay easy to enjoy. Parking area for guests and well equipped kitchenette for guests. Friendly welcoming hosts.
home style good food, served by friendly people who made us feel very welcome. particularly recommend the steak and ale suet and the sticky toffee pudding. we also very much appreciated all the measures they had put in place to make everyone covid safe.
My partner and I went for lunch with our toddler. Service was brilliant, very friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent, real home cooked very tasty meals! We both had steak & ale suet pudding and we can't wait to go back for more!
We stay at one of the lovely cottages behind the pub. It was very clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equip with everything that you need. Gail and Scott were just lovely host's. The food was just amazing and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be going back.
Went there today had a lovely roast pork dinner and lemon cheese cake, staff very friendly and very reasonable prices will definitely go again
The garlic mushrooms starters were perfect. A meal on its own. I had steak which was very tasty. Christine had a omelette but found it not so good. In my opinion it needed fluffing up.

In need of refurbishing and decorating. The restaurant is large with a basic menu and not the best quality. Cheap but not cheerful. On for a quiet drink query friendly service
