Pros: The food was good Cons: The tables were sticky, there were dogs roaming around off leads and it took us 10 minutes to get a menu. Overall it feels somewhat chaotic and the staff are apathetic.
Lacon is a local brewery to this pub so expected lots of Lacon beers on offer with a name like this. But, no! Only 1 real tap and that was off wasn't even a Lacon ale. 2 ales in bottled form but kept in the fridge!! One barmaid here I was the only customer and she was friendly seemed surprised that she had a customer. Only a Monday evening so not sure what the weekend is like but it is in the middle of a heavy residential area and no locals were here. Would like to know why.

Lively yet friendly locals pub owned by the same family for over fifteen years. Open evenings only Monday to Friday.

Quite dated inside and not a great range of drink if you like a pint of bitter. But the price was fair and it was welcoming with good service.
