Great pub if you are mooring at ludon Bridge as it is not too far to walk. Very dog friendly and nice happy staff. Good selection of beers at ok prices. We had the calimari from the specials board and the cod off the main menu. Food was good just a little over priced in my opinion. Overall well worth a visit if you are in the area
We came to the Dog Inn on our first adventure in the new camper van stayed a couple of nights for only £20 the owner gave us access to the toilet through the night if needed. It's a great little place good food, good ale and great people very welcoming we wouldn't hesitate returning if we're in the area again.
What an excellent meal, each had something different. Both meals were excellent, especially the Lamb Chops on the specials board. Last time we were here was 20 years ago , decided it was not for us, current management took over 17 years ago and now we are very sorry not to had gone back. We will return in July 23. Thanks for a lovely meal and making us feel welcome. P.S. dogs very welcome.
This is our third visit to the Dog. Considering how convenient the pub is for Broads holidaymakers, you'd expect their prices to be more cynical. But they serve huge portions of food at locals' prices. Good selection of drinks too. Always happy to come back to the Dog.
What a lovely pub. The beer is excellent, the food very tasty and the staff are magnificent. We're coming back. We've returned the next day. No ales...... at all! No Guinness at all! I'm stuck with Worthington's draft flow beer. It's about the same as John Smith's smooth! What a disappointment. And this time theres a family in with noisy, screamy children. Not what you want in a pub.
One of my favourite pubs. Informal but nicely decorated. Wholesome food in big portions. Good vegetarian selection and only a few hundred yards from Ludham Bridge moorings. Good quality pints and very friendly staff and management. Highly recommended......
We spent 4 nights at the caravan and motorhome site just down the road from the Dog Inn. We called in every evening for a couple of pints. Lovely atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming. Great for dogs and children. We had fish and chips supper on one evening - very tasty, and great value. A very busy pub while we were there, but the staff were always very friendly and efficient. If you are looking for a friendly pub with lots of outside space, good beer and pub grub, then look no further.
Nice place, food good, prices are ok, seemed a little under staffed
We have eaten here at the Dog in the past couple of years, and we've frequented this establishment several times on this 2 week holiday. I must say that for us, the standards have been consistent throughout all of our visits. Nice relaxed atmosphere, good tasty home cooked food, doggy friendly and lovely staff. A special mention to Tracey who is a star! and also Finley Sp? And not forgetting the landlord who works hard to keep it all ticking over. Thank you Team Dog at Ludham We will be back. Keep up the great work
We were staying on the broads and this pub was a 5min walk from ludham Bridge where we moored. We spent the afternoon here, lovely place, friendly staff, very dog friendly, also small camping field on site. We didn't eat there but saw them bringing out food and the fish and chips looked to die for!! Biggest bit of fish I've seen in a long time!! We will definatley be returning for that!
