First time we'd been there. Good sized pub with several seating areas. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. There was a large menu to suit all pockets and diets. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. It was a tad chilly in the pub but as it's been bitterly cold that was understandable. We will definitely be going again for such quality food.
Very nice place, clean and welcoming, and friendly staff. Has quite a good menu for a pub/restaurant, plenty to choose from. Food was also good quality, and reasonably priced. Bar stocked as you would expect from any pub, couple of real ales on tap which is always nice to see. Kids play area outback with a generous sized car park for family's to pop in for lunch/dinner Would recommend and will go back when I'm here next.
Food was great, service was great, portions were big! The tomahawk pork steak was not what we imagined pictured we were expecting just the loin chop with the bone, not the lion and belly pork. It was very nice just too much . The homemade sticky toffee pudding is worth travelling for!
Not outstanding, the staff was very relaxed, chatting among themselves unles called. They have no menus, you need to go and check the boards that are around the place and a bit of stickiness on the tables. The food was ok, big portions for kids. The decor needs upgrading. Dogs are allowed although no water or treats are offered like other places do.
We went yesterday for dinner and the food and atmosphere were amazing. The staff are a credit to the management as nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend and thanks for a lovely meal

Me and my hubby had. Roast dinners absolutely amazing food very fresh , staff were lovely to. My only issue was reading the menu on the wall it’s hard to read if you have bad eye sight but overall a lovely experience if we did not live far away we would return.
Excellent food, prices at higher end of pub food as very high quality. Nice atmosphere. Recommended. Would have had five stars but for no one on the bar to greet you and serve drinks though.
Went there last Sunday without a booking. Seated us without any issue. Had the roast beef dinner with all the trimmings. Every part of the meal was fantastic. Super friendly staff. Would definitely visit again just to eat them, I mean the deserts. Thank you for great experience.
Interior seems slightly stuck in the 1980s but not a real issue as was there for the food. My partner and I both had fish and chips, and parents had the scampi from the golden oldies menu. Fish was excellent, however the chips were pitiful. Menu said triple cooked, think maybe cooked about 5 times, and the peas were so few makes tou wonder if they'd run out, hardly worth the effort. Probably more put out with paying 15 pounds for the fish, whilst the smaller menu at about 10 got more chips and peas!!! Would I return? Possibly, but not in a hurry.
