Beautiful rooms overlooking the main street and garden. We went to celebrate a family occasion and the service was perfect. We ate everything....delicious. I can not recommend high enough....can we have 10Rooms: 5/5
This is a very clean establishment. Had a nice light lunch and a drink. Several real ales available. Toilets very modern. Nice open fire on a very cold day. Dog friendly.Service: 5/5
I had the haddock and chips for lunch, very disappointing, it was a very dry, thin piece of fish. In the small bit I managed to eat there were lots of bones and it just didn't taste right. When my plate was collected I quietly complained to the young waitress as I was mindful of other customers hearing, she said sorry, but that was it. At the very least I would have expected the manager to come and apologise, maybe offer a reduced payment, but there was nothing, we were just given the bill. Maybe I should have been more forceful or louder, but I was trying to do it in a kinder way, more fool me, hence now the review. We have visited this pub a few times over years, but because of how this was handled we won't be returning.
its a great place to take your family, a little too warm and the burger was burnt last time this time I got the vegetable lasagna and it was amazing. but the safe are golly and lovely. do be warned parking close can be difficult at dinner time.Rooms: 5/5
VERY DISAPPOINTED! My daughter Visited with her family for Sunday roast, apparently…you can have sausage n mash but not roast dinner and mash!! Bar man couldn’t have been more rude if he tried! Eating out these days is a massive luxury! Do the places want to go out of business! the least they could’ve done is serve mash instead of roast potatoes!! Very unfriendly. Made the dining experience dreadful and ruined their family day! All because of mash potatoes..awful atmosphere caused for no reason.
Came for dinner with friends, it was very good. Well cooked, food, hot and nicely presented. The premises are spacious, very clean, the toilets were also very clean. Plenty of choice on the menu, good service, and a good wine list. All of the staff are very friendly, helpful and polite. Reasonable prices. RecommendedLocation: 4/5
Disastrous dinner experience, ordered another meal because the 1st one was horrible & the second alternative arrived undercooked inside and burnt on the outside. Was really looking forwards to dessert and cheeseboard afterwards as a family but left feeling both from the food & service. Waste of time & money.Service: 1/5
Clean and spacious. Comfy beds. Excellent dinner menu and service received as we ate outside in the walled beer garden. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend this place.
