Not been here for a few years, but wow what a shambles. Rude staff pushing you about and demanding you move . Never will go back there, rudders place I ever been especially being told they have a business to run, well can’t run a business with no customers -10 score for this place and the owner needs to go back to school to learn some manners
First class food and service. Visiting from Norfolk borders so was a bit of a trek so it was lovely to be so rewarded. Only gripe....try not to entertain arrogant shoot parties...

Nice friendly village pub. Food is good pub grub, nothing pretentious but well cooked, generous portions and good service. A restaurant at the back which can host bigger functions.
A small but friendly little pub/shop. Has a proper local feel to it. A little bit pricey but you feel better paying it as it helps sustain the local area.
We had a large family gathering. The food was served hot and on time to over 30 people, and was delicious!
Haven't been here for a while, but what a lovely visit. Very busy at the bar, but staff were quick to get through the customers and still smiling. Food was delicious. My friend had a veg cheese bake of some kind, which came with a huge side salad and a chose of potatoes chip/new it was value for money and the best she has had too. I went for the cod and chips which comes in two sizes so you are not wasting food if like me not a big eater. Another very thoughtful thing, with the ketchup sashes, they provided kids safe scissor, genius !!! Will be visiting again.
Lots to choose from a menu, dog friendly, by the main road so a bit nosy if sitting outside
The parking for the pub is awful and worrying if you leave a nice car there as the spaces are tight. The choice of draught beer is poor with only two available. The menu choice is quite good but when served the food is very average hence I cannot rate the experience higher than 3 stars. I will not return here as there are better places to eat nearby.
Thank you to the staff that looked after us yesterday after we got lost and found your lovely pub , staff really lovely, pub had loads of people eating food looked wonderful and loads of it, thank you for looking after us and helping us on our way, to sudbury, we hope that if anyone sees this pub goes in and finds the warmth friendly atmosphere we found. Hope we find your pub again as well. If your reading this it's a must stop for everyone everything is cattered for . Big THANK YOU and keep doing what you do. Xx
