We had dinner there last night and we spent a lovely time. The dishes were both exquisite and generous. We had several appetizers, the wines recommended perfectly matched our dishes. The customer service was perfect.

This is an excellent, small hotel and restaurant. The building is unassuming on the outside, but beautifully decorated on the inside, with a lovely restaurant and lounge on the ground floor and a residents' lounge and bedrooms above. Food is of the highest standard, and those with special dietary requirements are catered for with ease - in my case the chef had produced a special gluten- and dairy-free menu - so I didn't feel I missed out on any of the experience. The service was excellent and had that personal touch of a top-notch small hotel. The rooms are a good size and well-equipped, as are the bathrooms. Those overlooking the river are particularly recommended, and the sound of the water makes for a good night's rest.

Probably the best dining experience of my life. Perfection attention to detail and wonderful customer service. Every course was an adventure in itself and words cannot do justice to the magic worked on this beautiful local produce

We had the most amazing stay here. The food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling through Scotland.
