My favorite pub, restaurant and hotel in North Yorkshire. Great staff, food and rooms. Would never stay anywhere else.

We have just had a great few days at the Countryman's. It is a perfect base for exploring the Dales villages and Tony made us very welcome. There are at least 3 excellent Pub/ Restaurants within 3 miles of Hunton so we were well catered for. Good value for money.

Good choice of drinks. Draught beers looked after well. Bar staff friendly. Toilets clean and fresh. Country style decor in keeping with the village location. Reasonable prices.

Having stayed here twice I can highly recommend both the service and the accomodation. Our first stay was for 3 days and 1 year later stayed for 5 days. Tony is a host who cannot do enough to ensure your stay is as relaxed and as pleasant as possible. A great place to base yourself whilst exploring the dales. Will endevour to stay again next tme we are in the UK.
