Great food and friendly staff, Plenty free parking after 6pm or just grab a free disc at the bar for 2 free hours anytime. Rooms look nice but I haven't stayed so cannot comment.
Stayed for 2 nights with a gifted voucher and additional cost. Breakfast was served at a specified time between 8am and 9:30am and it was lovely, would highly recommend. We had our evening meal both nights and would recommend the steak and ale pie and the lasagna. The waitress was lovely and polite and made sure that we had everything that we needed. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. It was different with the room having only wall lights and not a main ceiling light but it created a lovely glow. Our room was directly above the pub and we could hear the customers until closing but it wasn't overly loud or an issue and we expected some noise with it being a pub. Overall it was a great stay with lovely staff and we would stay again if we were in the area.
We didn’t stay at the green dragon but had Sunday lunch there.nMy roast beef dinner was perfect.nMy husband had the steak and ale pie which he throughly enjoyed.nThe staff were excellent, especially Annabelle who was pleasant and polite and did her job exceptionally well.
Just had a family meal in the bar area, was great service and food was fantastic. Ordering drinks using the QR helped beat the qué at bar. Pub is a stunner from inside to out and would highly recommend popping for a drink or some food. We had a lasagne, pizza and fish n chips, all delicious!
Went for Sunday lunch. The staff were helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the food was not great. Soggy Yorkshire pudding, hard broccolli.The meat was tender. Probably not with the £17 they were asking.
