Consistently good. Lovely food. Attentive staff. Well worth a visit for lunch and/or evening meals. The chips are twice-cooked and are TO DIE FOR! The food is cooked fresh to order and the coffee's come with a delicious home-made mini shortbread biscuit and an equally delicious (again, home-made) dark chocolate truffle. Yummy!

Later on last year (2017), we were up in Bedale in our VW Bay Window T2 Camper and looked up places to eat nearby on Trip Advisor and this one came up. A bit of a drive from where we were but it was well worth it and unbeknownst to us at the time; the owner is a big VW Camper guy with a lovely old Splitscreen T2 of his own. The place was super friendly and the food was incredibly good, the owner was more than happy for our son to play with his numerous camper toys and even sorted him some food off the menu as he's a fussy little one. We're back up in Bedale again soon and will be popping in to say hello and have some more great food when we're there.
