Welcoming staff. Food value for money, generous portions. Had roast beef dinner, 4 vegetables all fresh. Husband had roast dinner in giant Yorkshire pudding. Recommend a visit.

I love The Old Black Swan. There food is gorgeous. The food is also lovely, very nice. I enjoy the food there and the staff are very nice. We love eating there. We have dinner there twice in 2 days. Love Julie and Marg, as well as Charlie the Jack Russell. Thank you for such a wecomingly atmostphere.

went in on tour of yorkshire day , not serving breakfast , told they were doing bacon or sausage sarnies , ordered 2 bacon and sausage , a normal coffee and a tea , charged just short of £15 quid , nearly dropped dead , when they came , no breadcakes , but 2 slices of bread , 2 little bits of bacon and 2 sausages verdict , daylight robbery , wont go again . ps staff were lovely .
