Lovely food and lovely staff My son is very fussy and struggles to eat his veg. It was a Sunday menu and there was nothing he fancied on the menu. The staff offered him anything he wanted and he settled for a burger and chips which looked lush. Me and the wife had the Sunday roast and Yorkshire to die for. Thanks girls and the chef for a lovely meal and nice pint.

The woodman is a great place to stay. The rooms are excellent as is the pub. The food is great and reasonably priced. I will certainly return when I'm in the area again

Only four stars as I haven't tried the pudding yet - always eaten too much of the starters and mains. This is a customer friendly well serviced pub with great food, especially Sunday lunches. We just like it and feel relaxed and comfy there.

Excellent service, accomodation and great food. All at a very reasonable price I would highly recommend this for anybody looking in this area.
